Printed tags are usually made from a strong grade of paper board or synthetic material with good bending/folding characteristics, high strength, tearing resistance and selected for printing items where durability is expected. Tags are usually used to mark or identify items such as clothing, sacks, agricultural or garden products etc. Newer developments include multiple-layer tags and applications within the emerging RFID & security markets.
