Aparna Delivers Guest Lecture at Strathclyde University

Aparna Chopde, our Marketing Manager was invited to be a guest speaker at Strathclyde University,Glasgow.
Smith & McLaurin has developed a strong relationship with Strathclyde University over the years, particularly with the Business School through their annual marketing project scheme. Continuing this association, Aparna Chopde, our Marketing Manager was invited to take a class in B2B marketing in early March by John Finch, Professor of B2B Marketing at the Strathclyde Business School. Given our recent success at EasyFairs 2009 in February, she chose Tradeshows as her lecture material. The hour long session was well received and proved a valuable learning experience for all involved. ![]()
As Aparna said, “As a recent graduate, being invited back to lecture at my alma mater was an interesting experience. I chose tradeshows as my topic area, as I felt that these shows are one of the strongest yet most under-utilised marketing tool available to companies in the B2B arena. I offered the students theoretical background as well as practical examples, based on my own recent experiences, on how to choose, design and deliver a successful tradeshow performance”
